Director – 01
Qualification : ESSENTIAL: Ph.D with a working
knowledge of product development in the area of vaccines and diagnostics
and their translational realization, experience in the design,
implementation, monitoring and management of clinical trials, validation
and challenge experiments. The candidate should be an eminent scientist
from India or Persons of Indian origin with a proven scientific record
in the area of life sciences and with excellent leadership skills
DESIRABLE: Management skills, Experience in
initiating product realization and in depth knowledge of Good Laboratory
Practices (GLP) and validation and regulatory requirements of
veterinary vaccines and diagnostics
Pay Scale : Rs.1,65,000/- per month and 5% increase every year
Age limit : 55 years
Programme Director – 02
Qualification : ESSENTIAL: Ph.D. or M.D. with minimum of 10 years experience in Academia or Industry in the area of Vaccines / Diagnostics.
DESIRABLE: Experience in development and validation of veterinary vaccines and diagnostics
Pay Scale : Rs. 1,35,000 per month and 5% increase every year
Age limit : 55 years
Scientists – 03
Qualification : Essential: Ph.D. in any Life
Sciences or M.Pharm or M.V.Sc. or M.D. or M.Tech in Biotechnology or its
equivalent degree in any convergent science from a recognized
University plus a minimum of 5 years in an applied research and/or
development environment (Postdoctoral work may serve as experience)
Desirable: Should possess experience in
Translational Research, Technology Transfer, IP Management, mass antigen
production, lateral flow technology and microfluidics etc.
Pay Scale : Rs. 1,00,000 per month and 5% increase every year
Biosafety specialist – 01
Qualification : Essential: M.Sc or M.Tech in
Biotechnology or its equivalent degree in any convergent science from a
recognized University and should possess minimum 2 years experience in
running a biosafety level 3 facility or related work experience
Desirable: Registered or certified biological safety professional or undergone bio safety training program are preferred
Pay Scale : Rs. 50,000 per month
Administrative Officer – 01
Qualification : ESSENTIAL: Graduate with Post
Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management or MBA from a recognized
Institute/University Two years experience in establishment/ accounts /
store, purchase in a Govt. organisation in a Public body or an
organization of repute.
DESIRABLE: Knowledge of Government Rules & Regulations, Computer Application/Management Information System
Pay Scale : Rs.30,000/-P.M.
Animal House Operating Officer – 01
Qualification : Essential: B.V.Sc or M. Sc with interest in lab animal maintenance and two years experience in animal house management.
Desirable – Experience in conducting clinical trials
Pay Scale : Rs.30,000/-P.M.
Office Assistants – 02
Qualification : Essential: M. Sc /B. Tech in life sciences or related disciplines
Pay Scale : Rs. 20,000/-P.M.
Project Associate / Research Technician – 02
Qualification : Essential: Ph.D./M.V.Sc/ M.E./M.Tech
with 3 years research and development experience in vaccines or
diagnostics in Science or Medical or Engineering subjects.
Pay Scale : Rs. 35,000 per month for the 1st 2 years and Rs.45,000/- for next 2 years
Computer specialists/programmers – 01
Qualification : Essential: M. Sc / B. Tech in
Bioinformatics / computer science / Information technology or Diploma in
Computer Applications, Proficiency in Office Automation, Knowledge in
English and Tamil Typing with a minimum speed of 35 w.p.m on computer
Desirable – Two years experience in Bioinformatic analysis / programming
in addition to data management and computer skills
Pay Scale : Rs. 20,000/-P.M.
Laboratory /Animal attendant – 10
Qualification : Essential: 10th pass
Pay Scale : Rs.8,000/-P.M.
