Special Class Railway Apprentices' Examination (SCRA), 2013

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Special Class Railway Apprentices' Examination (SCRA), 2013 on 20/01/2013 for recruitment to the Special Class Apprentices in the Mechanical Department of Indian Railways.

 

Eligibility:

 
1. Age : Not less than 17 years and not more than 21 years as on 1/1/2013. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
 
2. Educational Qualification: Must have passes in the first or second division, The intermediate or an equivalent examination (10+2) of a University /Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
 
3. Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.

 

FEE : Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/PH candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one Hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by Cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of MyIsore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.
