Qualification: Good academic record with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST candidates) or equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with latter grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject i.e. Computer Science/Computer Applications from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from the foreign University. ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for appointment as Lecturers conducted by the UGC,CSIR or similar test accredited by the U.G.C. Note : If the candidates with above qualifications are not available; then the candidates having passed MCA, M.Sc. course will be  considered for term appointment with fixed salary of Rs. 30,400/- as approved by the Syndicate. Explanation : The term “Good Academic record” would imply that a candidate should possess: 1. At least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST candidates) or an equivalent grade in the Master’s degree; And 2. At least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in honors at graduation level. Or At least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in Honors at Graduation level. Candidates for the posts of Assistant Professor should have Master’s degree in the relevant subject and not in an allied subject. However, candidates who do not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but have done Ph.D. in the relevant subject will also be considered eligible.
