Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, inviting application for the post of Asst Professor
Minimum Qualifications: 1 Assistant Professor as per UGC minimum qualifications for appointment of Teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standard in higher education 2010. Except for Computer Science & Technology - the essential qualification for Assistant Professors is NET/SLET + Ph.D.Essential:Good academic record with atleast 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Physically & Visually handicapped candidates) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point with letter grade scale at the Master’s degree level, in relevant discipline from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.The candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree), Reg-ulation 2009, shall be exempt from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET for recruitment and appointment as Assistant Professor”.
