a)
Bachelor's degree in the concerned faculty with second class or its
equivalent grade.b) Good academic record with at least 55% of marks or
an equivalent grade at the Master's degree level in the relevant
subject. c) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates
should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant
Professors conducted by ICAR, University Grant Commission (UGC), Council
of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or similar test accredited
by the University Grants Commission/ State Government. For the
candidate having Master's degree, NET shall remain compulsory.
Essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D
degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the
UGC Regulations 2009 and the candidate has at least two full length
publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4, on the last date of
submission of application. Those candidates with Ph.D without course
work will not qualify for NET exemption.
Desirable : d) Possess the basic knowledge of computer application equivalent to course on computer concepts (CCC+) of Department of Electronic Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) society or of the level as may be prescribed by Government from time to time. |

How to apply
Application
in the prescribed proforma, should be filled in completely supported
with attested copies of certificate pertaining to the qualifications and
experience, accompanied with crossed Demand Draft amounting of Rs. 500/- (Non refundable) in favour of "Navsari Agricultural University Fund Account"
(SC, ST, SEBC candidates need not pay application form fee). The
candidate must send Demand Draft as application form fee in case the
form except reserve category. A separate application shall have to be
made for each post/discipline. Application duly filled in should reach
the Registrar, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari-396 450, Gujarat State on or before closing date i.e. 26-07-2012. Any postal delay in receipt of applications will not be considered.
