Central Institute of Classical Tamil, Award of Doctoral Fellowships 2012-2013
Eligibility : Postgraduate Degree holders with not less than 55 marks in Literature, Linguistics, or allied disciplines such as Anthropology, Sociology, Education, Archaeology, Epigraphy, Musicology, Performing Arts, Folklore, Philosophy, etc. are eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category will be given relaxation of 5 marks. Subject chosen for Ph.D. thesis should pertain to any area of scholarship relating to the period prior to 6th A.D.
Preference will be given to Ph.D. registrants who are working on topics related to Interdisciplinary Subjects, Comparative Dravidian, Language Typology and Translation with special
emphasis to the classical period.
Fellowship : The Doctoral Fellowship includes Rs. 12,000/- per month for 2 years with a contingency grant of Rs.12,000/-
Age : 30 years of age as on 16th August 2012
