Jawarharlal Nehru University, invites applications for the post of JRF
Project Title : “Development of Low Cost Magnetic and Nonmagnetic Biochars for Water Defluoridation”
Qualifications : M.Sc in Chemistry/Environmental Sciences
Desirable Qualifications : Strong
desire to work on the development of Biochars and their applications in
water purification with good knowledge of routine analytical
techniques. Candidates having relevant experience in the area of
water/wastewater treatment, surface chemistry, adsorption, biochar
development, activated carbon chemistry, Defluoridation will be
preferred. CSIR/UGC/NET qualified candidate will be preferred
Fellowship : As per DST norms
Period : The project is valid for a period of TWO years (w.e.f. June 19, 2012).
