Qualification : A candidate should have possessed Master’s Degree in relevant discipline or its equivalent Examination with at least 55% of marks from recognized University/Educational Institution. Provided that candidate in possession of Ph.D. Degree or experience as a performing Artist and teaching experience in a Government or recognized Institution will be given preference.

Age : 32(thirty-two) years and over 21(twenty- one) years of age on the 1st January 2012 i.e. he/she must not have born earlier than 2nd January,1980 and not later than 1st January, 1991.
Application Fee : A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.300/-(Rupees three hundred) only. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe of Odisha only are exempted from payment of this fee. Candidates are required to take a printout of finally submitted online Application for future use and take printout of online chalan (pay- in- slip) for payment of requisite fee at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). The fee paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be adjusted or held in reserve for any other examination or recruitment.
Method of Selection : The recruitment shall be made through a competitive written examination and Viva Voce test to be conducted by the Commission in accordance with the provision of Odisha Culture Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Services) Rules, 2006 and general instructions as provided.
Place of Examination : The written examination will be held at Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur depending on the number of candidates from the respective zone. In case sufficient number of candidates are not available for any of the zones of Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur, the candidates opting for those zones will be accommodated at Cuttack.
How to apply
Candidates must apply online from 21.08.2012 to 01.10.2012. Candidates
are required to send the Printout/Hard copy of the Online Application
Form along with specified documents/ certificates etc. as provided of
this Long Advertisement along with OPSC copy of challan showing payment
of examination fee, by Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier Service to
the Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack-753001 so as to reach the same in the OPSC on or before 12.10.2012. The S.C. and S.T. candidates are not required to enclose the copy of challan showing payment of fee.
