Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd., intends to recruit bright, qualified and energetic persons to the following posts for their placement at various units  & project sites.

Salary : Rs. 5,200-20,200 GP Rs. 2,400

Age : 18-32 yrs

Selection Procedure : Eligible candidates will be called for Written Test comprising multiple choice questions  covering all aspects of General Aptitude test (General Knowledge, Mathematics, English  & Reasoning) of fifty questions and a Trade test of one hundred questions. The test will be  likely to be conducted at Bhubaneswar, Rourkela/ Sambalpur, Koraput or any other city within Odisha. However depending on the number of applications, OHPC may limit the test  centers to one or two places.

How to apply

Application in the prescribed format  in A4 size paper along with two recent passport size colour  photographs (one to be signed on the front & pasted on the form and the other to  be enclosed). The application form has to be enclosed with the following  documents:  

 i) Self-attested photocopies of essential and other educational qualifications  with mark sheets. 

 ii) Caste certificate issued by the competent authority for SC, ST and SEBC  candidates of state of Odisha only.  

iii) Ex-Servicemen are required to attach copy of Discharge Certificate issued  by Commanding Officer of the Unit last served.
 
iv) Physically disabled Certificate issued by competent authority mentioning proof  of their type & extent of disability (if applicable).  

v) Experience certificate (if applicable).  

vi) A non-refundable A/C payee Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.300/-(Rupees three  hundred only) (not applicable for SC, ST and PWD persons) drawn in  favor of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited, payable at Bhubaneswar. 

The candidate is required to write his/her name, date of birth  and contact Telephone/Mobile No. on the reverse side of the Demand  Draft. The filled in application form along with the enclosures as applicable shall be sent  by ordinary post in an envelope super scribing “Application for the post of  Ope r ator- C (El)/ Electrician- C / Crane Oprator-C /Weldr- C, Fitter- C ” (as applicable) to Post Box No. 2752, GPO, Kolkata-1 so as to reach on or before 02.09.2012
