Kerala Public Service Commission, invites applications for the post of Excise Preventive Officer
Department : Excise (Excise and Prohibition Subordinate Service)
Physical Measurement : Must have atleast 165 cm height and 81 cm round the chest with a minimum expansion of 5cm. For candidates belonging to SC/ST a height of 160cm will be sufficient. Minimum chest expansion of 5cm shall however be applicable for them also.
Eye Sight : Must be certified to possess the following eyesight without glasses.
Method of Appointment : Direct Recruitment.
Age limit : 19-36. Only candidates born between 02/01/1976 and 01/01/1993 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. (For other conditions regarding the age relaxation please see para 2 of the General Conditions).
Scale of pay : Rs.13900-24040/-

1. Ex-Service men will be given preference as per provisions contained in GO(MS)50/70 dated 12.02.70
2. Women and PH candidates are not eligible to apply for the post.
