Office of the Directorate General Assam Rifles, Shillong - 793 011 Recruitment in Assam Rifles

Assam Rifles recruitment rally will be held at Jorhat (Assam), NRS-Jorhat Town from 10.12.2012 onwards for enrolment to 356 vacancies (male candidates) of following posts 

 

1. Warrant Officer(PA) : 28 Posts
• Qualification : (a) 10+2 or equivalent with English & Mathematics. 
      (b) Short hand speed 80 words per minute and typing speed 40 words per minute

2. Havildar (Clerk) : 328 Posts
• Qualification : a) 10+2 or equivalent with English & Mathematics. 
  (b) Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi
   

Age Limit : Between 18 to 23 years as on 1st Aug 2012. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST Candidates

How to Apply.  Candidates shall submit their applications by 20 Nov 2012 as per the attached format to the address mentioned below along with a Demand Draft for  Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) in favour of the Directorate General Assam Rifles payable at  SBI DGAR, Shillong, Code No. 7338.   Applications received after 20 Nov 2012 will not be entertained.  SC and ST candidates are exempted from application fee.  No cash/postal order will be accepted.
