Army Recruiting Office, Coimbatore, will conduct an open
Army recruitment rally for male candidates in Udhagamandalam (OOTY) from
January 7 to January 12, 2013.
According to a
release, the recruitment is for enrolment in Soldier Technical, Soldier
Nursing Assistant, and Soldier Clerk (SD)/ Store Keeper Technical
categories. Candidates seeking enrolment in these categories should be
born between January 7, 1990, and July 7, 1995. Those seeking enrolment
in the Soldier General Duty should be born between January 7, 1992, and
July 7, 1995.
The drive will be held at HADP Open Air
Auditorium, Ooty, for those belonging to 11 districts, viz., Erode,
Theni, Dharmapuri, the Nilgiris, Krishnagiri, Madurai, Namakkal,
Coimbatore, Dindigul, Tirupur, and Salem.
Screening
for Soldier Technical and Nursing Assistant will be held on January 7.
Candidates applying for Soldier General Duty from the Nilgiris, Theni,
Erode, Coimbatore, Salem, and Krishnagiri will attend the screening in
January 8, while those from Dindigul, Madurai, Dharmapuri, Namakkal, and
Tirupur will attend on January 9.
The screening for Soldier Clerk (SD) / Store Keeper Technical will be held in January 10.
Physical
fitness tests of particular categories will be carried out the next day
of the screening. Sons of servicemen / ex-servicemen, widows / war
widows, and NCC certificate holders will be screened on January 7 for
