Epidemiology of Malaria-Searching for the selective signature of
pyruvate kinase encoding (PKLR) and focal haemoglobin (HbF genes and
their suspecibility to malaria in northeast regional populations of the
country
Qualification : Post
Graduate Degree in any of the following discipline- Physical
/Biological /Antropology /Human genetics/Human
Biology/Biotechnology/Molecular Genetics/Bioinfomatics/ Other Life
Sciences.
Desirable : Experience of field work in
tribal areas, collection of epidemiological data and genomic ( wet lab)
analysis using bioinfomatics, genomic, statistical software packages of
genetic epidemiological or genomic diversity or population genetics
issues
Scale of Pay : Rs.13000/-
