Become a Junior Commission Officer (JCO) (Religious Teacher) in the Army (RT Pandit, RT Padre and RT Maulvi)

Applications are invited from male candidates only for recruitment as Junior Commissioned Officer (Religious Teacher) for RRT 72 and RRT 73 course in the Indian Army who fulfill the following eligibility criteria :

• JCO Religious Teacher : 35 posts for RRT 72 (Pandit-31, Maulvi-3, Padre-2) and 24 posts for RRT 73 (Pandit 19, Maulvi 02 and Padre 03)

Age : 27-34 years for civilian  and 25-34 for remustered candidates.
 

Physical Standard: As applicable to the regular army [Height-155cm, Weight-50Kg, Chest - 77 cm, Candidate should be able to run one mile in eight minutes.
 

Pay Scale : JCO will get the pay scale of Naib Subedar of Rs. 9300-34800/-

BECOME A JUNIOR COMMISSIONED OFFICER IN THE ARMY AS 

RELIGIOUS TEACHER

Applications are invited from candidates for recruitment of Religious Teachers in the Army as Junior Commissioned Officer for RRT 71 course. Religious Teachers preach religious scriptures to troops and conduct various rituals at Regimental/Unit religious institutions. Their duties include attending funerals, ministering to the sick in hospitals, reading prayers with the convalescents, visiting soldiers undergoing sentence, giving special religious instructions to children and enlisted boys besides attending generally to the religious instructions and welfare of Officers, Soldiers and their families.

• JCO Religious Teacher : 36 posts (Pandit-31, Maulvi-3, Padre-2)
   

Age : 27-34 years for civilian  and 25-34 for remustered candidates.
