As per Govt. sanction communicated vide Letter No.
HMB. 200/2009/148 dtd. 19.11.2012. Applications are invited from
eligible male candidates ordinarily resident of the State of Assam for
filling up sanctioned vacant posts in the ranks shown bellow:-

Scale of Pay:-
Station Officer:-
For the post of Station Officer (PB-2) Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20200/- and
Grade Pay Rs. 3300/- plus other allowances as admissible under the
Rules.
Sub - Officer:-
For the post of Sub- Officer (PB-2) Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20200/- and Grade
Pay Rs. 2400/- plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.
Fireman:-
For the post of Fireman (PB-2) Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20200/- and Grade Pay
Rs. 2100/- plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.
Emergency Rescuer:-
For the post of Emergency Rescuer (PB-2) Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20200/- and
Grade Pay Rs. 2100/- plus other allowances as admissible under the
Rules.
Physical Standards for (All categories ) : Height : The minimum height for a candidate shall be 160 cm (5’ – 4”) but in case of candidates belonging to ST – (H) and ST – (P) the minimum height shall be 157.5 cm(5’ – 3”). Chest : 77.7 cm (31”) in normal position and 82.5cm (33”) in expansion.
