Department: Applied Physics
R&D project: “Simulation of highly nonlinear photonic crystal fibers and study of nonlinear optical phenomena in these fibers” and another UGC sponsored project entitled “Design and investigation of photonic crystal fibers with emphasis to the development of optical nonlinearity based devices” .
Qualification :DST project: M. Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST).
UGC project: M. Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST). Fellowship Rs 14000/ PM (tentative).
Pay Scale: Rs. 16000 for NET qualified.Rs. 12000 NET qualified for Lectureship. Non NET candidate may be considered for Project Fellow position in case NET qualified candidate is not available. Fellowship Rs. 10000.
