Project Title : "Decision Support System for Enhancing Productivity of Grapes under Moisture and Temperature Stress Conditions "

SRF	M. Sc in ‘Soil Science’ OR M. Sc in ‘Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry ‘ OR M. Sc Agriculture (Agronomy/Soil and Water Management/Agricultural Physics with specialized research in soil fertility and plant nutrition/irrigation/in related field of the project as evidenced by research work OR M. Sc Horticulture (fruit science/pomology/vegetable science/floriculture with specialized research in soil fertility and plant nutrition/irrigation/in related field of the project as evidenced by research work. Desirable : (i) Research experience in soil, plant and water testing/irrigating management of Horticultural/Agricultural crops as and publications. (ii) The candidate should have working knowledge of instruments used in soil and water management studies, statistical tools and working knowledge of computer software namely MS Office (word, excel and power point) and conducting of field and laboratory experiments.	02
	M. Sc Agriculture OR M. Sc Horticulture OR Plant Physiology or Plant Biochemistry OR Agrochemicals with research experience in conducting research experiments in Agricultural/ Horticultural.  Desirable : (i) Experience in biochemical/physiological plant parameters/soil, plant and water testing agronomic/horticultural crops as evidenced by publications. (ii) The candidate should have working knowledge of instruments used in soil and water management studies, statistical tools and working knowledge of computer software namely MS Office (word, excel and power point) and conducting of field and laboratory experiments.	01

Emoluments : Rs. 16000/-

Upper age limit : 35 years for Men and 40 years for Women as on the date of interview

Duration of the Project : Initially for one year and extendable upto three years

All relevant certificates (in original) and bio data need to be produced at the time of the interview. Candidates who secure the minimum marks prescribed by the Institute in written test only will be eligible for calling for the interview. The number of candidates to be called for the interview will be decided by the Director of the Institute. Closing date of online applications will be on 04.08.2012 at 4.30 pm.
