Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. Desirable : Teaching research industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization; papers presented at Conferences and/ or in refereed journals.	06
8	Materials Science & Nanotechnology	-do-	M.Tech in First class in material Science/ Metallurgical/ Ceramics/ Polymer Science/ Engineering/ Nanotechnology. OR M.Sc. Physics/ Chemistry with minimum 55% and Ph.D. in the area of Material Science/ Nanotechnology. NET qualified candidates will be given preference. OR B.Tech/ M.Tech first class in Material Science/ Metallurgical/ ceramics/ polymer Science/ Engineering/ Nanotechnology and Ph.D in the area of Material Science/ Nanotechnology.	03
9	Humanities (English-M.A.)	-do-	i. Good Academic Record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever degree system is followed) at Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.	02

Salary :The Contract Faculty will be paid consolidated salary of Rs. 25000/- p.m. with M. Tech. qualifications/ M.Sc. with NET qualifications and Rs. 27,500/- for Ph.D. degree holders. Salary for Professor is negotiable.
