Sashastra Seema Bal applications are invited from male Indian citizens who fulfill the following eligibility criterion for filling up the vacancies in the rank of Constable Driver

Constable (Driver)	Matriculation or equivalent from a recongized Board/University.(ii) Must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.Note: Educational certificate other than State Board/Central Board should beaccompanied with Govt. of India notification declaring that such qualification isequivalent to Matriculation / 10th Class pass for service under Central Govt.	Total- 824, (SC 241, ST 72, OBC 118,Gen 311,Ex-Servicemen-82

 
Standards of Physical Measurements:A) Height:i) 170 Cms for all except the categories shown below.ii) Minimum height 165 Cms belongings to hill areas of Garhwal, Kumaon,Himachal Pradesh, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Sikkimis, Leh and Ladakh, KashmirValley and North East.iii) 162.5 Cms for the candidates belonging to ST, Tribal/ Adivasi including Mizos & Nagas.B) Chest:i) 80 Cms (Un-Expanded), 85 Cms (Expanded) for all except the categories shown below.ii) 76-81 Cm. for ST, Tribal/ Adivasi including Mizo and Naga candidates.C) Weight:Proportionate to height as per Medical standard.Medical Standard:The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correctioni.e. without wearing of glasses.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200

Age:18 to 28 years ( Cut off date for age will be 1st August,2012)

Eligible and desirous candidates should send their applications By Post in the prescribed proforma,with two attested passport size photographs duly affixed on application form and admit card at the space provided for the purpose, along with application fee of Rs.50/-, attested copies of the testimonials.The applications should be typed or neatly hand written. Two selfaddressed envelopes of 4”x9” size with Rs.25/- postage stamps duly affixed should also be attached with the application form. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed in block letters as Application for the post of Constable (Driver) IN SSB.
