Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, conducts Walk-In-Interview for the post of Research Associates

Name of the sub-project : Development of Spectroscopic Methods for Detection and Quantification of Adulterants and Contaminants in Fruit Juices and Milk.

Qualification for 1st post : Ph.D. in Microbiology/ Botany/Food Science and Technology and relevant subjects Or M. Tech./M. Sc. in any subject mentioned above with 60 % marks or 1st division or equivalent OGPA with two years experience in research/teaching/food industries.  for 2nd post : Ph.D. in Post–Harvest Engineering & Technology / Agricultural Process Engineering / Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Dairy & Food Engineering / Food Processing/Technology and relevant subjects Or M. Tech./M. Sc. in any subject mentioned above with 60 % marks or 1st division or equivalent OGPA with two years experience in research/teaching/food industries
 

Desirable for both posts : Knowledge of Optical Chemistry, spectrometry and detection of adulterants in food. Exposure to multivariate statistical analysis software packages for chemometrics.

Number of Post : Two 

Remuneration : Rs. 24000/-

Age limit : 40 years
